You can completely relax along the beautiful beaches and under the blue sky. For culture there are many authentic places in the region and within an hour you are in Valencia or Alicante. Due to the mild climate you can also spend the winter in Jávea. Jávea is located in the same region as for example Moraira and Denia: a region where the sun almost always shines. The hottest months are July and August.

The old core of Jávea is not directly on the water, but about a kilometer inland. Here in the old narrow streets there are less tourists. Here you will find beautiful buildings such as the church of Sant Bartomeu and the Chapel of Santa Anna. Those who want to visit the old town of Jávea should keep in mind that a parkingplace is not always easy to find.

The port Duanes del Mar consists of two parts: the marina and the fishing port. In the morning the fishing boats come ashore to bring the many trays with the fish just caught to the fish auction.
